THE MAZE RUNNER tells the story of Thomas, who wakes up in an elevator, remembering nothing but his own name. He emerges into a world of about sixty teen boys who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies. Then a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change. When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape. In cinemas worldwide Sep/Oct 2014. The soundtrack for The Maze Runner features a score by John Paesano, an American film composer and conductor. Paesano studied classical music with composition at the Conservatoire de Paris. In 2012 he was honored with an Annie Award for Best Score for the award winning television series Dreamworks Dragons: Riders Of Berk, which is based off of the Academy Awarding winning film How To Train Your Dragon [MOVLP1196].
